Michael Jackson"s songs were the soundtrack to my (and im sure many others) childhood. I have a memory attached to almost every one of his songs. What a sad sad day.

Sooo....i FINALLY have a computer. Sadly, its still not my laptop...its my parents old SLOOOWWW ancient desktop...seriously so slow.. But hey its better than the nothing I had before. One of my resolutions this year is to start seriously saving money fo either fix my laptop or buy a new one. Before all the money I saved went  to christmas gifts. Speaking of Christmas gifts i got a spiffy NEW ipod...my old was a hand-me-down....so yay my first NEW one. I was kind of sad to let the old one go though...

Jeezus. I haven't posted in forever. Or maybe ever. I don't remember. Buuuuut. I haven't had a laptop since June. Yeah. JUNE!! ugh. I need $$$ to fix it though. Everytime I save some something else comes up. Isn't that how it always goes? It sucks though because I cant really use the one at work and I took the internet off my phone to save some $ for Christmas. After the holidays though? ITS ON. Im saving everything to get that monster fixed. I miss it. Its like im missing an arm. My new goal is to post at least once every two weeks.

I really need to catch up on my shows so I have something to discuss. I am about 3-4 weeks behind on EVERYTHING. Dont ask me how. However, I still managed to watch every episode of Dancing with the Stars. How is that possible when I dont even really like that show??? hmm?? i dont even know.

I finally saw Twilight behind the cut is my obligatory too long review.

Movie Meme
Snagged from [info]jbangelo </lj>

Supposedly if you've seen over 85 films, you have no life. There are 270 films on this list. Copy it, paste it into a new post and then put Xs next to the films you've seen. Add them up and post at the bottom. Have fun!

After the Twilight fandom exploded this past week wasn't sure whether I wanted to buy the book or not. At the last minute my cousin and I decided to the Barnes & Noble party for the lulz.  We made a couple of shirts and headed out. The "party" itself was kind of eh but it was fun to witness the madness. Right before midnight we decided to go to Walmart and check out the book there on the teeny tiny shred of hope that it wouldn't be as fail as we'd read. HA.
I COULD NOT bring myself to buy it. I figure i'll get it of f  the internet or from the library or something. I couldn't bear the thought of giving THAT WOMAN $ money for it.

I went shopping today for chicago and I didn't really go through my bags till right now and you know what I found? A bag full of little boys clothes. WTF? I walked out with my bag plus that one. It's like 80 dollars worth of crap. Ugh. I'm the kind of person who feels extremely guilty and paranoid over everything. Now I can't sleep. My mom wants to keep it. For who? I can't though. It's gonna bug me.

Anyway, I finally watched army wives. Really good but really sad.

Damn it all to hell. My laptop finally broke for the last time. It's dead. Dead. ahhhhhhhhhhhh. I knew it was coming but, of course, I  failed to back up anything recently. I want to die.....So i''m stuck on my parents janky old dinosaur. My mom offered to let me have it, since she's getting a new one.  Which is really great of her. But still. It's so old. And slow. And has none of the stuff the made mine awesome on it. Ugh. Who knows how long it will be till I can afford a new one. This totally sucks.

7 Interests Meme

So I’m trying to decide whether or not it’s a good idea to change my work schedule from 6-2:30 for the summer. Getting up at 4am and being dead tired at 9pm sucks. But its so freaking hot ,I’d rather sit in traffic while its cooler. I also want to start going to the gym again and I hate going after 4 that’s when it starts getting packed. Not to mention the workday seems to go faster. Well most of the time. I don’t know………..

Anyway. Here’s a meme.

Comment on this post and I will choose seven interests from your profile. You will then explain what they mean and why you are interested in them. Post this along with your answers in your own journal so that others can play along

[info]jbangelo picked these for me:
Twilight
Jacob/Bella
Daydreaming
Grease
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Roswell
Max/Liz

Kristen Stewart actually smiling? Wut? She looks really pretty when she smiles. Do it more often KStew.
Actually, I'm really excited for Kristen to play Bella. She's the only casting choice I didn't really have a problem with in the begininng. As much as I hate Bella I thought I would dislike anyone who played her. But I think she can pull off it off and actually make Bella more likable.

And how freaking hot did Cam Gigandet look at the movie awards? God, I can't believe  I sat through entire show. Don't ask me why. Is it wrong that I find James more than Edward? Robert Pattinson is slowly growing on me. But Cam? Um yeah...anyday.

So instead of being holed up in my room for an epic weekend of doing absolutely nothing, I was forced to come out of my cave and hang out with out of town relatives. I mean I love them and all. But...i needed this weekend.  So yeah..."forced family fun time" weekend. Fun.

I finally get back here today and what the first thing I see? The fuckery that is the first chapter of Breaking Dawn. I hate being late and the last one to know about this stuff.  But seriously, WTF. Is Steph Meyer serious? Is the rest of the book going to be filled with shit like that?  God, I hope not. My brain CANNOT handle fail of that magnetude.  I don't even care how it all ends anymore. Bella, Edward, and hell now even Renee can DIAF (or however the hell you kill sparly vampires). I think I can accept Eclipse as the final book because at least Jacob knew to get his ass out of town rather than stick around for this ridiculousness (is that even a word?).

Lastly, as part of "forced family time" I ended up watching Ghost Whisperer with one of my aunts and Jennifer Love Hewitt's character said something that made me think of Jacob/Bella.  So in this episode JLH's dead ex is obsessed with her and wants to kill her so they can be "together forvever." So she asks her husband to let her be alone for the night and deal with this guy.  The following conversation happens:

JLH: "He's not here because he loves me. I asked him to give me space and he gave it to me."
Dead ex: "How is that love?"
JLH: "That's just part of it. And it's not just the greeting cards, and sunset, and flowers part. That's easy. That's not real. It's about doing the things you don't want to do. The stuff that makes you mad. The stuff you do without being asked. It's about having a friend and knowing when to shut up. You know, I can't tell you what love is. I can only tell you what it isn't and this is not it."

That describes one of the many reasons why l love J/B more than E/B.

Today's Twilight related boyband song: "The Hardest Thing"  by 98 Degrees. Yeah them again.  So this song is all Sam/Leah. I can imagine their breakup was somewhat like this. I suppose it could also be Jacob/Bella. But eh.  I feel it more for the Sam/Leah/ Emily imprinting fiasco.

Ok so ...reading cheesy teen lit tends to bring out my inner teeny. And when she makes an appearance she demands to listen to 90's pop.  Anyway, "Yesterday's Letter" by 98 Degrees came up on my ipod and immediately  I thought, "Jake, Bella". Actually I've noticed a lot  cheesy pop songs remind me of  Jake/Bella or Edward/Bella.  So I'm thinking this isn't going to be the only entry like this. Is it bad that I relate almost every song I hear to Twilight? Ugh. This fandom is making me insane.

So yeah......
